Senior Solution Architect (Business Development), Data and Integration - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect (Business Development) in Data & Integration. You will play a key role in developing and growing our Data & Integration offerings, supporting sales and customer teams, and identifying new business opportunities. You will act as the bridge between market needs, customer demands, sales, and our delivery capabilities.

You combine technology expertise, market understanding, and commercial thinking to shape future services, value propositions, and customer solutions. You actively contribute to customer opportunities, offering development, presales activities, and selected strategic customer engagements. You turn customer needs into clear solutions.

What will you do?

You will work closely with our data & integration practice teams, other practices, Customer Executives, Sales, and delivery teams. Your key responsibilities will include:
 

Customer-facing presales

• Support customer and sales teams in account planning and business development.
• Build trusted-advisor relationships with key stakeholders on the customer side.
• Participate in customer meetings, early-stage opportunity discussions, workshops, and proposal presentations.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the customer base.
• Help customers understand solution alternatives and translate complex technical topics into clear business value.
   

Proposal and bid support

• Contribute to the opportunity lifecycle (pre-RFx, RFx, DD, BAFO) as a Data & Integration solution expert.
• Ensure that the offering strategy, customer value proposition, and technical solution form a coherent whole.
• Define solution alternatives, architecture principles, implementation approaches, effort estimates, and delivery models together with solution architects and delivery experts.
• Support and lead technology choices and ensure that proposed solutions are feasible, competitive, scalable, and aligned with customer needs.
   

Offering Development and Portfolio Growth

• Develop and maintain Data & Integration offerings, solutions, and service concepts.
• Analyse market trends, customer demand, competitor positioning, and emerging technologies.
• Define value propositions, business benefits, service descriptions, and commercial models, and maintain the related assets.
• Gather customer and market feedback and translate insights into offering improvements.
   

Delivery consultancy

• Participate in selected customer engagements as Lead Solution Consultant or Solution Architect.
• Provide architectural guidance and expert advisory support in strategic customer initiatives when required.

Who are we looking for?

You are a senior data & integration professional who enjoys combining technology, business, and sales. You are comfortable in customer discussions, able to understand business needs, and able to turn those needs into customer solutions.

• Experience in offering and service development, solution architecture, technology, and solution consulting.
• Hands-on experience with data, AI, and integrations, as well as related market-relevant technologies and platforms.
• Ability to translate customer needs into solution concepts, delivery approaches, estimates, and implementation plans.
• Ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated track record in creating new business opportunities or supporting sales growth.
• Strong understanding of market trends, customer buying behaviour, and value creation in data-driven business.
• Commercial mindset and ability to connect technology capabilities with business outcomes.
