About the role
Tieto is strengthening its role as a strategic partner to the public sector—helping agencies and municipalities turn digitalization into measurable results. As a Solution Consultant for Public 360˚, you’ll be right at the center of that journey.
This role brings together public-sector domain knowledge, sharp consulting skills, and commercial drive. You’ll run discovery, cut through complexity, and turn challenges into clear, value-based solution concepts powered by Public 360˚.
You’ll stay close to customers end-to-end: from early sales, shaping early opportunities, building momentum through adoption, and unlocking growth through expansion and long-term value. This goes beyond implementation and product expertise—you’ll influence decisions, drive business development, and position technology as a true strategic enabler.
In this role you will:
Act as a trusted advisor to public-sector customers and build long-term relationships based on credibility and trust.
Lead discovery and needs analysis—help customers clarify goals, challenges, and priorities, even when the starting point is unclear.
Turn “pain points” into well-defined needs and realistic improvement initiatives.
Translate business needs and governance requirements into Public 360° solution concepts, roadmaps, and next steps.
Communicate value and impact clearly, including benefits, costs, risks, and organizational implications.
Drive sales and business development through great customer dialogues, workshops, and value-based conversations.
Set deliveries up for success—help define scope, surface risks early, and align expectations.
Team up with sales, product, delivery, and customer success to ensure continuity—and long-term customer value.
Share knowledge and ways of working internally to strengthen and develop the consulting role in the team.

A strong consulting mindset— with the ability to understand customer needs, structure complex challenges, and guide decisions
Commercial drive—you spot opportunities and turn insights into tangible customer value
Strong stakeholder management skills—you engage confidently across business, IT, and leadership
Experience in solution consulting or similar roles, working with complex IT solutions in larger organizations
Experience facilitating discovery, needs analysis, and customer dialogue in early-stage or strategic engagements
Ability to communicate value and impact, including costs, benefits, and trade-offs
A proactive approach to customer development—supporting long-term value realization beyond go-live
Being fluent in Swedish and English is required
Experience from the public sector or information-intensive domains (e.g. case or document management) is beneficial but not required
