Sr. Salesforce Developer - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

You will join our Salesforce practice, collaborating with architects, developers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions for global clients. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative Salesforce applications while contributing to digital transformation initiatives.

When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a Salesforce Developer

You join a skilled team of Salesforce professionals where you will continuously learn, innovate, and collaborate with experienced colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Lightning Aura Components.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Build and maintain reusable Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processes.
• Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, security guidelines, and governor limits.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and data processing efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture documents, and user guides.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, and support quality assurance activities.
• Provide post-deployment support, troubleshoot production issues, and implement enhancements.
• Collaborate with architects, technical teams, and business partners to evaluate solution options and technical trade-offs.
• Work in an Agile development environment where innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement are key success factors.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I or Platform Developer II certification.
• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Aura Components, and JavaScript.
• In-depth understanding of Salesforce Platform Architecture, Governor Limits, and Salesforce development best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.
• Good understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and role hierarchy.
• Experience in Salesforce upgrades, releases, and ensuring successful system integrations.
• Intermediate programming knowledge in JavaScript and C.
• Experience with Git, Salesforce DevOps, release management, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes is an added advantage.
• Strong software design, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Additional Salesforce certifications are considered a plus.
