To succeed in this role, we would like you to have
- Background in data engineering
- Hands-on experience in developing integrations with Databricks, knowledge of Azure Data Factory is a plus
- Professional software development experience, including usage of CI/CD automation and working in production environments is essential
- Hands-on experience with large-scale data integrations
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Scala and Python
- Understanding of software productization and a focus on building sustainable, maintainable, and reusable solutions
- Confidence and willingness to take responsibility, willing to communicate actively with stakeholders and openness as a member of a team
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Finnish
In addition, we value
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Azure cloud services, e.g. ADO, Key Vault, ADSL etc.
- Proficient knowledge of networking in cloud environments, including networking security aspects
