Customer Manager for Energy Utilities (m/f/d) - Tieto Tech Consulting

In this senior role, you will develop strategic customer relationships in the Austrian Energy & Utilities sector, uncover new business opportunities and connect customer priorities with the right expertise across our organization.

You will combine commercial drive, sector insight and a consultative mindset to create measurable value for our customers and shape the growth of our Energy & Utilities business.

When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a Customer Manager, you

• Take ownership and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts in the Austrian Energy & Utilities sector, with a clear focus on long-term customer value and commercial success
• Develop multi-year account plans based on customer priorities, market developments and new business opportunities
• Build trusted relationships with decision-markers and lead strategic conversations, account planning sessions and business reviews
• Translate customer challenges into compelling, value-based proposals together with our delivery and solutioning teams
• Identify and develop cross-selling and upselling opportunities across our portfolio, from Data & AI to Cloud and Software Engineering and Enterprise Applications
• Represent the Energy & Utilities sector internally and externally by sharing market insights and contributing to go-to-market initiatives

Who we are looking for:

• At least 3 years of experience in strategic account management, business development or customer relationship management within IT consulting, software or digital engineering
• A strong track record in developing complex customer accounts and building trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Good understanding of the Energy & Utilities sector and its key topics, such as digitalization, the energy transition, or evolving expectations
• Confidence in engaging with senior and C-level stakeholders and turning strategic priorities into concrete opportunities
• Experience collaborating across sales and delivery teams
• A commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, with experience in account planning, contract renewals and sustainable growth
• Excellent German and strong English skills, enabling you to communicate confidently with customers and international colleagues

The annual gross salary for this position will start from € 65.000,00 (based on IT collective agreement, ST2 Regelstufe) on a full-time basis, depending on your qualifications and experience. Our aim is to provide you with a salary package that is both competitive and reflective of your relevant experience, while also aligning with current market standards.
