Jacek is a result-driven leader with over 15 years of experience in Delivery Operations for international tech companies, including Tieto Tech Consulting. Renowned for his ability to build teams and departments from the ground up, Jacek has a proven track record in managing engineers and team leaders across multiple countries.
Throughout his career, Jacek has formed a leadership philosophy based on meaningful collaboration, diversity, flexibility, and delivering value through operational excellence.

“The people I had the pleasure to work with are my greatest professional achievement,” says Jacek, reflecting on his journey as a Delivery leader.
The utmost joy for Jacek was to see his teammates achieve professional success, either by getting promoted, developing new skills, or finding new roles that better suit their potential, even outside the current workplace.
“I had the opportunity to build many teams, which was not easy. This process has taught me a lot, so much so that I might not have yet fully realized the value of the lessons I learned.”
However, one thing is certain for Jacek – the ability to be honest and admit one’s mistakes is essential. These qualities foster trust not only for the manager, but for the company as a whole.
“One crucial insight that I gained is that diversity is the key component of productive teams. Although managing such teams is a challenging task, diversity inevitably yields better results,” says Jacek.
The blend of different perspectives and experiences allows a team to approach tasks with more creativity and efficiency, which is imperative for achieving common goals.
The Value of Strategic Thinking, Inclusive Teams & Adaptability
Jacek began his journey at Tieto Tech Consulting by leading a Delivery department within the Automotive and Electronics segment. The role involved driving the development of Tieto’s competencies and engineering impactful digital solutions for the clients.
Later, during Tieto's organizational transformation, Jacek was tasked with building a team focused on extending the company’s Cloud expertise. The diverse team with individuals from various departments had to be formed from scratch – a task that was a perfect fit for Jacek.
“I had to develop a unified strategy and a tailored skill development roadmap that would increase the sales of Tieto’s services. During this stage of my career, I recognized the true value of integrating diverse perspectives to achieve shared goals,” Jacek notes.
The next year has brought new major structural changes to Tieto Tech Consulting, during which Jacek was offered an opportunity to lead a team within the Central Europe Delivery Center, focusing on Automotive and Manufacturing projects. In this role, he had to manage a multinational team and navigate the complexities of cross-border collaboration.
“After undergoing numerous organizational transformations, I have acknowledged the profound importance of flexibility and adaptability. Managing change, motivating people, and helping them find their ground within the new structures has been a defining experience for me.”
An Outlook on the Future of Global Delivery Operations
“I envision the future of Global Delivery Operations as dynamic and technology-driven, with a strong emphasis on AI, automation, and data-driven decisions.”
Jacek believes that to ensure successful Delivery Operations, companies must become more agile, scalable, and proactive while also providing tailored solutions that meet the rising customer expectations. In addition, as Delivery teams become increasingly global, fostering cross-cultural collaboration along with sustainable practices will be among the key Delivery trends in the upcoming years.
