With us, you will be responsible  

For Application Support & Maintenance of world class Global Payment and Cash Management products used by global banks. As a Solution consultant your central task will be working closely with the customer to analyse the reported defects, incidents and request for changes by the customer of the world’s biggest banks. The role requires daily interaction with customer ‘s business and technical experts, service managers, IT teams and other subject matter experts to understand the customer needs and provide the solution to fulfil those. This includes defect analysis during implementation, incident & problem management during maintenance, root cause analysis and preventive action items. Establish a good professional relationship with the customer where the customer trusts you to be their reliable partner to grow their business and meet their client SLAs. 

You will also bring business and domain knowledge to the teams, assisting them in developing the Cash Management and Global Payment solutions for the future. Support and participate in testing the customer defects as and when needed. 

Day to day activities involve 

  • Act as the first escalation point for operational issues, level 2 (L2) Support member. 

  • Technical and functional analysis of the production incidents/problem tickets and test defects.  

  • For SaaS customers, strategies the monitoring, alerting, configuring the health dashboard and insights with the help of continuous inputs from internal product team. 

  • Ensuring workarounds to major incidents are given where java technical expertise is required.  

  • Engaging in frequent bridge calls with customers to provide functional/technical solution to their problems. 

We expect you to have 

Solution consultant (Java Techno-functional expertise) 8-10 years of experience in the IT/Support industry. 

We seek you with previous experience from the role of Techo functional Business Analyst/Solution Consultant in the Financial Sector where you have provided consulting and/or business analysis support in areas related to Global Payment & Cash Management.  Specialists in any of these areas will be preferred and hands on experience with solutions for various products like direct debits, direct credits, payments, virtual accounts, cash management solutions, account solutions, multi-bank payments and ISO based payments. 

We believe you have at least 8-10 years of experience from the role or in process. You master English fluently in speech and writing. 

We value that you as a person have the power to improve the financial sector and want to develop in a role where you can run IT and / or business-oriented change projects. You are genuinely interested in seeking new knowledge and experience, are results- and customer-oriented and used to working in Customer Success area. You should be a team player where you learn and share with the team. 

Should also have the skills to work independently and feeling confident in your professional role, where you take great responsibility and ownership of the problem at hand. 

Required Skills   

  • Core Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Angular, REST web services 

  • Oracle, IBM MQ, WAS knowledge and experience, 

  • Application server: WebSphere, and JBOSS.  

  • Cloud platforms - AWS / GCP 

  • Databases - Oracle, DB2 

  • Tools - Jira, JSM, ServiceNow  

  • Experience of continuous integration tools like Maven, Jenkins 

  •   

Must have  

  • Domain experience in Core banking/Cash Management/Global Payment. 

  • Experience in agile ways of working Kanban, SCRUM. 

  • Experience of continuous integration tools like Maven, Jenkins and Nexus 

  • ITIL certification
