Service Delivery Manager – Americas Region - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

Tieto Tech Consulting, is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Service Delivery Manager – Americas Region , a professional who will join a project within a Telecom Team for our respectful client BICS.

Role Purpose
The role is accountable for technical interface between the BICS Customers in the Americas and the BICS internal teams, including the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities
• accountable for the technical life cycle (pre-sales, fulfilment, post-provisioning) of your assigned accounts. Propose and agree a high-level design for all applicable products and services BICS offers to its Customers (covering Roaming, Mobile Data, and Voice) and manage the implementation of the solution within BICS.
• optimize the existing interconnections in accordance with the network topology evolution and in line with the requirements of the customer, and network costs.
• collect and assemble all technical requirements of the customer from a technological and topological perspective. You provide BICS Management with regular and structured inputs and recommend the necessary investments in region to cover future customer needs.
• manage the structural issues affecting the Customers’ interconnections and take the necessary steps to strengthen the resilience of the different services.
• measure and analyse the satisfaction of the customer during fulfilment and take necessary steps to address areas for improvement.
• oversee a group of BICS individuals adopted during the lifecycle of each project to ensure efficient implementation and delivery for your customers.

Qualifications

• bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, engineering or computer science and relevant experience (7–10 years) in a similar capacity in the international telecommunication business or in a Mobile Network. A master’s degree in a similar capacity is highly favourable.
• PMP training/certification is preferred.
• strong technical expertise in Voice (VOIP and TDM) and mobile data (IPX, LTE, SMS and SS7 Signalling). A working knowledge of 5G concepts is also a plus.
• available to travel within the Americas to meet customers and support the sales organization when needed. Periodic travel to Europe for training and development may also be needed.
• solid history in customer relationship building and management. Easily develop and maintain long-term and trusting relationships with your assigned customer accounts, as well as with your colleagues within BICS.
• communicate effectively (orally and in writing) at different organisational levels, including towards C-Level executives, and you can defend the interests of BICS during negotiations with third parties.
• thrive in multicultural, innovative and ever-changing environments.
• customer-focused, results-oriented and stress-resistant.
• fluent in English and Spanish. French is beneficial.
