Job Description

Tieto Banktech is the leading financial services software partner in the Nordics, delivering modular Banking‑as‑a‑Service solutions and market‑leading software across core banking, payments, credit, cards, fraud prevention, and wealth management. We enable financial institutions to operate more efficiently, innovate faster, and accelerate their digital transformation.

About the role
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an HR professional to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the business both locally and globally, with a primary focus on the Norwegian market. You will drive transformational HR initiatives, lead union stakeholder dialogue, and support business growth, while also contributing to global HR projects and ways of working.

You will be part of a global HR team supporting our Banking as a Platform (BaaP) unit, which delivers mission‑critical core banking solutions to Norwegian banks. The unit consists of more than 700 employees and 60 leaders and plays a vital role in ensuring innovation, stability, compliance, and continuous improvement across the financial sector.

This role offers the opportunity to operate independently, influence how HR works in a changing environment, and help shape future people processes while building on what already works well.

You will report to the HR Business Partner for BaaP, reporting into the Global People & Culture Lead for Banktech.

With us you will:

  • Act as a trusted strategic HR partner to senior leaders, representing HR as a credible and influential advisor
  • Drive organizational transformation and people‑related change in complex environments
  • Coach and challenge leaders to strengthen people leadership, performance, and decision‑making
  • Lead and contribute to local and global HR initiatives, providing hands‑on support across performance management, salary reviews, and workforce planning
  • Use people data and insights to support talent, succession planning, and risk awareness
  • Ensure compliant and effective people practices by applying Norwegian labour law, collective agreements, and union collaboration, while continuously improving HR ways of working in close collaboration with HR Operations

Who you are:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Experienced HR professional with solid knowledge of Norwegian labour law and union stakeholder management
  • Proven experience working in an international and matrixed environment
  • Strong interest and experience in change management and HR‑related projects
  • Proactive and solution‑oriented, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute work in a structured manner
  • Comfortable taking ownership and driving work independently, while collaborating effectively with others
  • Resilient and able to stay focused and balanced in periods of change or high activity
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken

We offer:

  • An exciting role with both local and global scope
  • A supportive team and collaborative colleagues
  • Continuous opportunities for learning and development
  • A culture built on transparency, trust, and active knowledge sharing

The position will require occasional travel.
