Are you interested in playing a central role in ensuring secure and stable operations for financially and socially critical systems in Norway and abroad?
 

We are seeking 2 skilled and motivated Critical Incident Managers to join our Operation Center in Oslo.

In this role, you will serve as the central point of leadership during Critical Incidents—ensuring timely resolution, clear communication, and continuous improvement of our Incident management practices.
 

Participation in an on-call duty rotation will be expected.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Beyond day-to-day operation follow up, you will lead and coordinate critical Incident handling across Tieto Banktech Business Units and suppliers, to minimize customer and business impact.
  • Lead taskforces with technical resources
  • Provide timely, clear, and professional communication to internal stakeholders throughout the Critical Incident lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Produce and deliver operational reports. Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of Incident status, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Conduct post-Incident reviews

 

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, written and spoken
  • Experience of Incident management and corrective action processes
  • Proven ability to lead technical taskforces and coordinate cross-functional response teams under pressure.
  • Actively challenge assumptions and inconsistencies in data and stakeholder statements; identifies discrepancies between reported data and actual performance using multiple data sources to validate conclusions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective during critical Incidents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple Incidents simultaneously.
  • Strong operational reporting skills
  • Technical background and understanding of the Banking Industry is a plus
