Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Tieto Banktech, Card Personalization Business, Vantaa Site

Our Card Personalization business ensures the secure handling, production, and delivery of payment cards and associated data, operating under strict regulatory, compliance, and information security standards.

We are looking for an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Tieto Banktech, Card Personalization Business, Vantaa Site to lead and govern our Information Security function and help position security as a business enabler.

As CISO, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical information assets and business processes. You will define and drive our information security governance, align security with regulatory and industry requirements, and work closely with management, customers, and key stakeholders across the organization.

What you will do

  • Lead and develop the organization’s information security governance, policies, and controls.
  • Assess and manage risks, business continuity, and compliance matters.
  • Provide leadership for the information security / cybersecurity team.
  • Act as a trusted security advisor to management, customers, and partners.
  • Drive incident response and mandate urgent actions during critical security events.
  • Support customer engagements, audits, and pre‑sales security activities.
  • Ensure effective third‑party and vendor security oversight.
  • Promote continuous improvement and security awareness across the organization.

Who you are

  • An experienced security leader with a strong background in information security, cybersecurity, or IT risk.
  • Comfortable working with regulations, standards, and industry frameworks.
  • A confident communicator who can engage executives, customers, and technical teams.
  • A collaborative leader who sees security as an enabler of trust, resilience, and growth.
  • A person with knowledge of standards or regulations, such as PCI, ISO-9001, 22301, 27001, 27701, GDPR, NIS2, and DORA.
  • You have strong communication skills in both Finnish and English, both written and verbal.

Location

  • Workplace is in Koivuhaka, Vantaa, Finland.
  • Work mainly on-site; however, hybrid is supported where appropriate.
  • The role includes occasional travel, primarily within the Nordics and Europe.
