We are looking for an Azure Integration Platform Support Specialist who wants to be part of Tieto Tech Consulting. Tieto Tech Consulting works as a true partner, solving clients’ toughest technology challenges and delivering reliable outcomes that drive measurable results. By merging data, cloud, AI and design with deep industry expertise, we create impactful yet intuitive digital solutions that empower people and move businesses forward. 

In this role, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our enterprise integration ecosystem. Working closely with a Lead Engineer, you will serve as the operational backbone for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining cloud-based middleware solutions built on Azure Integration Services (AIS). This position includes participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure continuous business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Platform Monitoring & Maintenance: Proactively monitor the health, performance, and throughput of Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management (APIM), Event Grid, and Azure Data Factory
  • Incident & Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve integration failures, message bottlenecks, and data synchronization issues using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
  • On-Call Operations: Actively participate in a 24/7 on-call shift rotation to handle critical P1/P2 production incidents outside standard business hours, with the ability to escalate complex architectural issues to the Lead Engineer
  • API Operations: Manage the lifecycle of APIs in Azure APIM, including securing endpoints, managing products/subscriptions, and troubleshooting routing issues
  • Message Queue Management: Administer Azure Service Bus queues and topics, managing dead-letter queues (DLQs), repairing and resubmitting failed messages
  • Access & Security Compliance: Maintain secure connections by managing Managed Identities, Microsoft Entra ID permissions, API keys, and SSL/TLS certificates
  • Deployment Support: Assist with the deployment of integration artifacts across environments (Dev, Test, Prod) using Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Documentation & Runbooks: Standardize operational workflows by creating and maintaining technical support documentation and incident runbooks

Required Technical Skills

  • Cloud Platform: 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting Azure Integration Services
  • Observability Tools: Proficiency with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics. Hands-on experience with Nodinite (dashboard configuration, log views, tracking) is highly preferred
  • Data Formats & Protocols: Strong understanding of JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, and AS2
  • Identity & Access: Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, and RBAC principles
  • CI/CD & Scripting: Basic experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and PowerShell or Azure CLI

Soft Skills & Competencies

  • Critical Incident Handling: Ability to remain calm and systematically identify root causes during high-pressure on-call incidents
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong root-cause analysis skills to diagnose failures in distributed systems
  • Collaboration: Effective communication skills to coordinate with developers, infrastructure teams, and third-party vendors during incidents
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a demanding environment with shifting priorities and critical production timelines
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Azure–related certifications
  • Experience working within an ITIL framework (Incident, Problem, and Change Management)
