About the role

We are actively seeking a Senior Project Manager with 12+ years of experience, including 4+ years as a Scrum Master. The person is responsible to lead end-to-end delivery of software development initiatives. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, engaging with global stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution of projects within scope, timeline, budget, and quality parameters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple software development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to drive requirements gathering and define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Drive execution across Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and hybrid delivery models, ensuring adaptability to evolving project needs.
  • Manage cross-functional Scrum teams (development, QA, architects, Scrum Masters) remote, and hybrid setups.
  • Establish and enhance strong governance frameworks, including regular status reporting, stakeholder communication, and executive reviews.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, SDLC processes, and delivery best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in delivery efficiency, team productivity, and process optimization.
  • Drive AI initiatives as per the organization guidelines

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and managing development & testing projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering small to large-scale projects in Agile environments.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client-facing roles and build long-term relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams while fostering a collaborative culture.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks; Scrum certifications are a plus.
  • PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred.
