Overview of the role:
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and enhancement of Customer’s Salesforce platform. Collaborates on all aspects of user management including support cases, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction being a priority.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and input all aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules
- Configure the platform according to approved solutions, including but not limited to Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
- Manages Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups.
- Conduct analysis and evaluate materials provided by business users
- Build, test, and deploy all configuration changes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to Identify and gather business and technical requirements, translating into best practice scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
- Identify unused or underutilized platform features
- Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders
- Perform data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
- Conduct proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
- Develop and maintain system documentation and support procedures, processes, application configurations, and related materials for users
- Manage and address user support cases
- Support team members and monitor user adoption of Salesforce
- Conduct new user and support ongoing user training, creating training materials as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Three to four years of experience as a Salesforce administrator experience
- Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration
- Exceptional ability to create and maintain Salesforce databases
- Experience supporting both sales and service cloud
- Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities
- Proficiency in creating Salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and managing access
- Knowledge of importing salesforce object data and generating Salesforce reports
- Proactive attitude to platform enhancements
- Experience designing scalable best practice solutions
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Experience in change management and governance
- Experience training end users and key stakeholders
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification
- Experience working at a fast-paced SaaS company
