About the Role

This is a people-first leadership role with broad operational scope. You will lead the Caretech Engineering Excellence and Caretech Security teams across India and Nordic, with a strong focus on developing talent, strengthening capability, and enabling high performance. Success in this role is defined not by deep technical specialization, but by sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and disciplined execution. In addition to people leadership, you will own a EUR 1–1.2M budget, lead cost optimization initiatives, govern tool processes, and represent the function across senior Caretech leadership, Finance, Procurement, and key external partners, including Microsoft. This role requires a leader who is organized, commercially astute, and effective in navigating a complex cross-functional stakeholder environment.

In this role you will

• Lead and develop a cross-regional team across Tooling, Infrastructure, and Security, with a strong focus on capability
• Own the Engineering Excellence budget of EUR 1–1.2M, ensuring strong financial governance, forecasting discipline, and cost transparency.
• Drive strategic cost optimization programs across software, licenses, tools, and cloud infrastructure, with clear savings targets and measurable outcomes.
• Manage key stakeholder and supplier relationships, including Microsoft, while leading procurement, renewals, and commercial negotiations with appropriate governance and compliance.
• Provide leadership across EE operational processes, ensuring risks, priorities, and execution are clearly governed, communicated, and followed through.

• Broad leadership scope: The role combines people development, financial management, supplier negotiation, Tool /Infra governance oversight at the same time.
• High complexity and accountability: It operates across multiple country, a high paced work place, and a budget with clear performance targets.
• Sustained leadership demand: Success requires a leader who is consistently present, builds trust over time, and can manage upward, sideward, and within the team effectively.
• International travel to company offices will be expected.

We are looking for someone with

• Minimum 5 years proven people leadership experience in technology, engineering, or shared services environments, with a strong track record of developing junior and mid-level talent.
• 3-5 years experience in strong program leadership, with the ability to drive multiple priorities, align cross-functional stakeholders, and deliver against deadlines and financial targets.
• Commercial and financial acumen, including budget ownership, spend management, and accountability for cost optimization outcomes.
• Disciplined execution, sound judgment, and the curiosity to lead technical teams effectively without needing deep technical specialization.

It would be beneficial if you also

• Experience leading cross country distributed teams.
• Experience managing major technology suppliers, including licensing, renewals, and commercial negotiations.
• Familiarity with cost optimization, software asset management, or cloud spend governance.
