About the role
We are looking for a Software Architect to join our Consulting team in Uppsala, focusing on external assignments. With us you will be responsible for:
- Design and architecture in our assignments - lead architectural decisions that shape the customers solutions, ensuring scalability, security and alignment with industry standards.
- Identifying and mitigating risks – detect gaps in architecture, security, deployment and configuration, proposing solutions to minimize risks and enhance system integrity.
- Collaborating closely with developers, testers, UI designers and scrum masters.
- Engaging with customer stakeholders - understand customer needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Mentoring and coaching team members – guide in resolving complex technical issues and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

We are looking for someone with:
- Extensive experience in software development and architecture, with a proven track record in designing and implementing complex software systems.
- Knowledge of containerization and technologies as Docker/OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Strong technical skills in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, web development and design patterns.
- Knowledge of GDPR
- Knowledge of Java/Spring and Elastic
- Network and infrastructure knowledge
- Good communication skills – ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technicians
You have
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in complex software development
- Experience in backend development
- Strong drive of implementing value for the customer
- Fluency in Swedish is mandatory (written and spoken)
It would be beneficial if you also
- Have experience in the healthcare sector
- Knowledge of healthcare standards like HL7, FHIR, TOGAF, OpenEHR, “nationella tjänsteplattformen” to ensure interoperability and compliance
- Knowledge of Patiendatalagen (PDL)
- DevOps and Infra knowledge
