## Breaking the binary
When they decided to come out at work as non-binary, Nicola Röhrer, a consultant with Tieto Tech Consulting in Austria, chose to tell the entire office all at once. The experience turned out to be nothing but positive.
## Managing a diverse team
Our values are openness, trust and diversity – and to us they are anything but clichés. When you work together in teams you must be open to other members. You have to be open to help and be helped and open the floor to constructive criticism.
## It’s never too late to change career
I have colleagues who have taken a straight IT path since their youth, but also a former car mechanic, a salesperson and a subway driver. It makes for a work environment where there are great opportunities to learn, especially since we’re so open with each other.
